About Highbury Farm

Highbury Farm is a small farm in picturesque Robertson, on the eastern edge of the New South Wales Southern Highlands.

The property stands on Gundungurrra and Dharawal country, whose elders (past, present and emerging) the current owners respectfully acknowledge.

Formerly known as Sentinel Farm, the acreage includes the very beginning of the Macquarie Rivulet which runs down to the coast through Macquarie Pass.

Philip & Tessa Hoser previously ran an Angus breeding operation in the Southern Tablelands but we fell in love with Mini Belties the first time we saw them. We have been raising them at Highbury Farm since we bought the property in early 2022.

The fertile soils and lush green pasture, and the decision to keep the breeding herd deliberately small, mean that our cattle thrive in a calm, healthy and loving environment.

Our cattle make wonderful pets, help keep paddocks down, and are beautiful additions  to the countryside. They are not registered with the Australian Galloway Association, and are not therefore eligible for competition showing. They are gentle and friendly, and will enjoy your company, but do equally well left by themselves in a paddock, seeing you only occasionally.
